Right now, live edge slabs – slabs with natural edges that look as though they were just cut from a tree – are becoming a popular commodity. With their gorgeous, organic shapes, it’s no surprise why restaurants and offices are choosing to incorporate live edge tables and furniture over more traditional options. They also make incredible desks and dining room tables for the home!

Our current selection includes both walnut and ash slabs. The ash slabs were taken from the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. It is important to us to always source our materials locally whenever possible, which makes these slabs a special addition to lumberyard.

The photos show the slabs in their raw forms – no stains or varnish. This allows our customers to personalize them to match their spaces completely. To see them up close, we welcome you to our lumberyard by appointment only: (815) 899-2260!
